About Our New Youth Leaders…
Adhurim Rimi Xhemajl
Adhurim (Rimi – pronounced ‘Ree-Mee’) Xhemajli
was born in a Muslim family, completed his
college degree in philosophy, converted to
Christianity in Nov. 2007, and after 6 months,
moved to the United States were he followed the
Lord's calling on his life. He began by studying
at the University of the Nations (in Kona,
Hawaii) where he received his Master's degree in
Biblical Studies and Ministries. He also
did outreach and evangelism with Youth with a
Mission (YWAM) in places like San Francisco, Los
Angeles, Hollywood, Chicago, as well as
different places in Pennsylvania. Finally, he
spent six months ministering in Kosovo (his home
country – a place which is about 97%
Muslim). After hearing the Lord calling him back
to Pennsylvania, Rimi has been continuously
eager to reach out and do the Lord's work in the
area. He is eager to continue working with
the youth in the church; helping them to
discover the Lord's heart and calling on their
lives, finding out what else the Lord has for
him here, and helping the Lord bring heaven to
earth!
Rachel Xhemajli
Rachel Xhemajli (formerly Rachel Hodges) was
born in New Jersey, and raised in a Christian
home. Her father was a pastor for most of her
life and so mentored the family in Christ's way
of living. She completed her high school years
at "The King's Academy" (a Christian school
located in Berks county, Pennsylvania) and then
went on to pursue a college education. After
hearing the Lord call her to Kosovo, she flew
over and ministered there for about six months,
this putting a pause to her studies. Then, after
many breakthroughs and revelations in Kosovo,
she and Rimi got married and returned to Youth
With A Mission and University of the Nations
(Kona, Hawaii) to continue with the Lord's
calling there. Now, after being called back to
Pennsylvania, Rachel is continuing on in
ministry. She loves working in the church,
learning to build up and encourage the youth in
the Lord.
